A native of Taraz, he graduated from the D. Kunaev College in Almaty, majoring in law. He has been engaged in handicrafts for more than 20 years. Since at an early age he was fond of breeding horses, at a more mature age he decided to engage in the manufacture of horse equipment in the traditional national Kazakh style. Because horse equipment is characteristic of the nomadic peoples of Central Asia, today his work is in great demand in his native country and abroad.
